    Biography

    Rabiul Mahmud joined as a full time PhD in Electrical Engineering Department, KFUPM, in Sep 2022. He is currently on leave from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Gazipur, Bangladesh, a subsidiary organ of OIC in Bangladesh. He obtained the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) in 2016 and 2020 respectively. His research interests focus on Plasmonic Devices and Materials.

    Biography

    Qazi Tareq received his B.Sc. in EEE degree from American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is currently a full-time MSc. student at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Prior to this, in 2016 - 18 he held positions in Abdullah Hashim Industrial Gases & Equipment Co. Ltd, Dammam, KSA, as Plant Electrical Equipment Maintenance & Service Engineer, and Alook Refrigeration Co. Ltd. as an Assistant Project Engineer. He is a student member of IEEE.

    Biography

     Sani Mukhtar received his Bsc. in Electrical and Control Engineering from Arab Academy For Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Alexandria Egypt in 2016. He is currently a full time master student at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining KFUPM he served as an Assistant Chief Technology Officer in OncenOut limited  during his one year compulsory national service in Lagos State, Nigeria. He also served as an Assistant Lecturer in Jigawa State Polytechnic, Dutse, Nigeria. He is also a student member of IEEE

    Md. Hosne Mobarok Shamim received his B.Sc. in EEE degree from Islamic University of Technology (IUT), a subsidiary organ of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is currently a full-time M Sc. student at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining at KFUPM he has served as a lecturer at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), Dhaka and Atish Dipankar University of Science and Technology, Dhaka for two years.

    Biography

    Mohamed A. Shemis received his dual B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Physics, and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 2015 and 2017, respectively. He is currently a PhD student at KFUPM and working on improving the performance characteristics of near infrared and visible lasers for high speed optical communication. He has so far published 11 journal and conference papers.

    Muhammad T. A. Khan completed his BS in Electrical Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT), Islamabad, Pakistan in June 2013, and his MS in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia in Jan. 2017. Prior to this, for academic year 14-15, he held positions in Meridian Engineers and Constructor and PTCL as a Network Engineer and Trainee Engineer, respectively. He is a student member of IEEE, SPIE and OSA.

    Emad Alkhazraji received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in 2014, and 2016, respectively. He worked as a research assistant in Electrical Engineering Department at KFUPM from 2014-2016 and later joined as a lecturer in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology Department, Jubail Industrial College (JIC), Jubail. His main areas of research interest are photonics, quantum-dash structures, and their application in optical communication systems with over 15 publications.
