Reservoir experience covers a wide range of petroleum systems (oil, condensate and gas) in both clastics and carbonate reservoirs, at various stages of their development (prospects, developing ‘green fields’ and mature ‘brown fields’).
-
Geographical experience covers the USA, UK (Cambridge), Middle East (Saudi Arabia/UAE), Russia (Siberia), South America (Venezuela) and India (Assam).
-
Mentoring national engineers on basic reservoir engineering aspects and how to employ it in understanding simulation results.
-
An extensive “hands-on” reservoir simulation background. Expert in simulation model construction, gas/condensate/black oil simulation, integrated surface-subsurface modelling and the evaluation of reservoir data (PVT/SCAL).
-
Expert in the use of various industry standard packages for PVT characterisation (PVTi), well test analysis (Weltest 200), material balance analysis (MBAL), nodal analysis (Prosper, VFPi), assisted history matching (Enable) etc.
-
Fully aware of multi-disciplinary reservoir study work-flows and the required integration of geo-science and engineering data to maximise asset value.
-
Practical experience of wellsite operations, drilling, data acquisition and well testing.
