W3C.
The goal of the XML Protocol is to allow two or more applications to communicate
via the Internet, using XML as a communication language.
SOAP 1.2
The XML Protocol Working Group at W3C is currently working on SOAP 1.2.
The first working drafts were published 17. December 2001.
A final recommendation is expected before the end of 2002.
