The Option object represents an <option> tag.

Properties

Property	Description
defaultSelected	Sets this option to be selected as default
disabled	Sets or returns a Boolean value that indicates whether the option should be disabled
form	Returns the form element that contains the option
index	Returns the index position of the option
label	Sets or returns the label of the option
selected	Sets this option to be selected
text	Returns the text for this option
value	Sets or returns the value of the option
