Jan Egil Refsnes

The father of the Refsnes family is Jan Egil Refsnes. He is a Web developer with over 30 years of computing experience. His Norwegian company - Refsnes Data - is a software development and consulting company, focusing on Internet and client-server database development.

"Jani" has participated in a large number of company critical development projects for oil companies like Amoco, ELF, Halliburton, Brown & Root and BP. He has also developed different database systems for governmental institutions like The National Library, state hospitals, the police, and many others.

Today his greatest concern is W3Schools, a Web site that has quickly become one of the most popular in the world, with ever increasing visitor traffic.
