2. Computational Chemistry :
Molecular
Geometry Optimization, Molecular Spectroscopic Properties Simulations, and
Molecular Conformational Studies using Molecular Mechanics,
Semi-empirical ,
ab initio , and
DFT PC-Packages. Write and/or modify any
FORTRAN Programs
needed for Teaching and research.
Modeling the molecular properties and spectral results for
liquid-crystalline systems and nucleic acid bases systems using PC-software
packages.
3. Thermochemistry :
Differential
Scanning Calorimetery (DSC) for liquid and solid systems.
Illustrate the thermodynamic properties of polymorphic systems and plastics.
