This view of Petra shows some of the numerous tombs in the area. You  can also see the lack of shade which means most people visit in the early morning or later in the day in the summer months.

Not as grand as Petra nor as extensive as Jerash, the ruins of the Decapolitan city of Pella lie in the Jordan Valley.  Relax, eat and enjoy a long lingering view  from the Resthouse that is above the site.
