Study of the superconductivity in non-equilibrium regime (Study of Hotspot and Phase slip centers in high & low-Tc superconducting filaments).

 

 

         Photon Detection using superconducting strips.

         Photovoltaic Devices: Organic Solar cells.

         Superconducting Qubit.

         Nano-mechanical resonator.

Hot Spot and Phase Slip Centers in Superconducting wire:

 

 Pulse measurement setup: Pulse Generators, Delay lines, Attenuators, coaxial cables, Cryostat equipped with Temperature controller able to reach 3.9 K.

 

 Detection setup: Laser Diode, Cryostat equipped with optical window.

 

Photovoltaic Devices: Organic Solar cells:

 

 Gloves-Box under Nitrogen flow.

 

   Complete setup for I-V Characteristics with solar simulator.

 

 Measurement of Quantum Efficiency.

 

Supervising MS Students:

 

  •  Dynamics of Phase Slip Centers (PSC) and Hot Spots (HS) in Superconducting Niobium Strips: Completed on 27-05-2015

     

  •  Measurement of Heat escape time in Superconducting NbTiN Strips: Completed on 21-04-2016.
