A Brief Biography of Dr. El-Omari: (Associate Professor of Marketing)

Dr. El-Omari has obtained his B.Sc. From the University of Jordan, Master of Commerce in Marketing from Strathclyde University/UK and Ph.D in Marketing from the University of Glasgow/UK. He moved to King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in (2005) and worked in the College of Industrial Management as an Associate Professor of Marketing.

He has taught Marketing courses for more than 19 years in different Universities, such as, Glasgow University, Muítah University, The Hashemite University, UAE University and then KFUPM in Saudi Arabia. During the period of (1995-1998), Dr. El-Omari was the Head of the Department of Business Administration & Accounting at the Hashemite University in Jordan.

Dr. El-Omari has worked as an Advisor to the Vice-Chancellor for Community Services at the UAE University and that was during the period of (2000-2002). Further, he was a faculty member for five years in the College of Business & Economics at the UAE University. 

He has a variety of  teaching experience developed because of his work in many countries. This gave him the opportunity of having  unique understanding of various cultures and contexts. He has plenty  of Publications in Local, Regional & International Journals.  His Publications address various Marketing topics  related to the Middle East and the UK.  He is a referee for many regional and International Journals. Currently, his main interest is in Consumer Behavior & Marketing Strategy.
