Hussein M. Al-Qahtani received his Ph.D. degree in December 2004 from the University of Colorado at Boulder. From May 1997 to December 2001 he was a Graduate Assistant working at the Department of Mechanical Engineering King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals at Dhahran. In June 2005, he has been appointed as Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.

His current research interests are focused on thermoelasticity, Nano Technology, Nonlinear wave propagation in different structures. He has authored/co-authored over 10 technical articles.
