COURSE DESCRIPTION: Structure, nomenclature, bonding, isomerism, stereochemistry and properties of organic compounds. Synthesis and reactions of alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, alcohols, ethers, alkyl halides and aromatics. Mechanism of addition, elimination, substitution, radical and electrophilic aromatic substitution reactions.
