Industrial Experience

Summer  2007 worked independently at KFUPM for 2 months to create three training portfolios.
 
Summer  2006 worked in “The Leadership Center,” ARAMCO, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
 
Summer 2005 worked in “Consulting Service Department,” ARAMCO, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

June, 1998: Completed the Gridgen Training Course conducted by Pointwise, Inc world headquarters, Fort Worth, TX, USA

December, 1995: Completed a short course in “Pumping Machinery and piping systems”, conducted by the ME Dept. at KFUPM.

November, 1995: Completed a short course in “Energy conservation and related failure prevention in power generation and process industries”, conducted by the ME Dept. at KFUPM.

April, 1995 : Completed a short course in “Industrial Hydraulic and Pneumatic Technology”, conducted by the ME Dept. at KFUPM.

November, 1994 : Completed a short course in “Computer Aided Drafting and Design using AutoCAD”, conducted by the ME Dept. at KFUPM.

October, 1994: Completed a short course in “Turbomachinery, Application, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting”, conducted by the ME Dept. at KFUPM.

August 1996 – August 2001, Texas A&M University, College Station, TX. Worked as a Ph.D. student in the Mechanical Engineering Department

April 1995 –August 1996, lecturer, Mechanical Engineering Department, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities: teaching undergraduate labs, development of Fluid Mechanics lab manual, participating in departmental committees, proctoring exams and others activities assigned by the department chairman.

February 1990 - April 95, Graduate Student, Mechanical Engineering Department, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
