SOAP 1.1

SOAP 1.1 was suggested (by UserLand, Ariba, Commerce One, Compaq, Developmentor, HP, IBM, IONA, Lotus, Microsoft, and SAP in May 2000) as a protocol for exchanging information in a distributed environment.

The W3C SOAP 1.1 document is only a NOTE available for discussion. The publication of the note indicates no endorsement by the W3C.
