The <noframes> tag

Definition and Usage

The noframes element displays text for browsers that do not handle frames. The noframes element goes inside the frameset element.

Tips and Notes

Note: If a browser handles frames, it will not display the text in the noframes element.

Tip: Include the noframes element when you create a main frames page.

Examples

Example:
<frameset cols = "25%, 25%,*"> <noframes>Your browser does not handle frames!</noframes> <frame src ="venus.htm"> <frame src ="sun.htm"> <frame src ="mercur.htm"> </frameset>
