The <button> tag

Definition and Usage

Defines a push button. Inside a button element you can put content, like text or images. This is the difference between this element and buttons created with the input element.

Optional Attributes

Attributes:	Values:	Description:
disabled	disabled	Disables the button
name	button_name	Names the button so that it can be used in a script or a form
type	button reset submit	Defines the type of button
value	some_value	Sets the initial value of the button. The value can be changed by scripts

Standard Attributes

id, class, title, style, dir, lang, accesskey, tabindex
