 COMPUTING BACKGROUND

WindFarm: - Good experience working with wind farm design software for optimal energy yield from a wind farm having cluster of wind turbines.

HOMER: - Hand on experience on HOMER software used for the design, optimization and cost estimation of hybrid power systems for isolated and grid connected small and large systems. The hybrid power system may include but not limited to Wind-Diesel, Wind-Photovoltaic, Wind-Diesel-Photovoltaic with or without battery backup.

RetScreen: - Have very experience working with RetScreen software used for the sizing and economical analysis of hybrid power systems for bothe isolated grid and central grid connected systems.

ORACLE: - Have been working on design, development and to certain extent management of ORACLE RDBS since 1993. During this period, I extensively used ORACLE* FORMS, ORACLE*REPORTS, ORACLE*GRAPHICS, PLSQL*PLUS, and other tools. I have also developed a Management Information System for the Research Institute of the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, using ORACLE, a relational database software, as a team member. I have also developed applications using Microsoft Access as back end and Visual Basic as front end.

Extensively used IBM 360/158, MVS3033, VAX 8350 and HP9845, in developing software in languages FORTRAN, BASIC. I have developed an interactive graphic facility, which utilizes DCL, Fortran and the SAS Graphic Package on VAX 8350. I have used a range of software (Graphical, Mathematical, Word Processors etc.) and developed programs in FORTRAN on Personal Computers.
