I am a condensed-matter experimentalist. I have been working on strongly-correlated electron systems. Currently my research focuses on the investigation and manipulation of nano-structures of complex exotic materials such as superconductors and manganites for the purpose of optimizing their transport and magnetic properties for potential cutting-edge applications. The proposed applications include nano-sensors with ultra-high resolution reaching the single-photon detection limit, memory devices with ultra-high storage capacity, etc. The investigated materials take the form of single crystals, thin films, bulk materials, nanowires, and tunnel junctions.
Other research interests and activities include Nuclear Magnetic/Spin Resonance: m-SR and b-NMR in superconductors, semiconductors and simple metals. |
