    Petroleum Engineering Consultant with Reservoir Management of Southern Area; Leader of the Recovery and Technology Excellence Center 'RTEC' responsible for assessing and enhancing ultimate hydrocarbon recovery throughout the life cycles of our reservoirs with in-depth recovery studies including future recovery methods and associated technology needs.
  • January 2009- October 2011
    Leader of Manifa Increment Subsurface Development- responsible for developing the largest Saudi offshore increment of 900,000 Bbls/D of heavy sour crude from two reservoirs. Team formulated and implemented reservoir management strategies, requirement and coordinated with surface activities to ensure field to be best in class for the on-stream date of April 2013.
  • December 2007-December 2009
    Worked for Southern Area Production Engineering in several technical managerial positions including responsible for meeting field's oil and gas production, and water injection target rates while ensuring reservoir management best practices to maximize recovery and optimize cost. Assumed the following roles;
    - General Supervisor of Abqaiq production Engineering division.
    - Superintendent of North Ghawar Well Services Division.
    - Supervisor Production Engineering for Ain Dar & Shedgum fields.
  • April 2007-December 2007
    Working for the Saudi Aramco EXPEC Advanced Research Center (ARC) as the Chief Technologist Drilling Technology team (DTT)
    - Managing and Revising DTT research plans and priorities to match current team capabilities and prioritized projects to expedite cost effective contribution to Saudi Aramco drilling program. For example, new innovative ideas such as Micro-Chip for Drill-in Fluid, Low density cement, Damage Free Drill-in fluid, Comprehensive near real time Measuring and Monitoring System for drilling fluid, and in-place flexible elastic expandable tubular system were given a priority.
    - Supported management with special reviews and reports on various topics including a road map for the DTT, reviews and overview of various drilling technologies and collaboration opportunities.
  • January 2001-April 2007
    Worked for Southern Area Production Engineering in several technical managerial positions including responsible for meeting field's oil and gas production, and injections target rate while ensuring reservoir management best practices to maximize recovery and optimize cost. Overseen introduction and application of several innovative technologies such retrievable down-hole gauges and remote wellhead monitoring and alarming system among other technologies. Assumed the following roles;
    - General Supervisor of Udhailiyah production Engineering division.
    - General supervisor of Water Injection Engineering.
    - General Supervisor of Gas production Engineering.
    - Supervisor of Khurais Field Production engineering.
    - Supervisor of SDGM/UTMN gas Production engineering.

    Worked with Southern Area Reservoir Management assigned to help manage AinDar, Abqaiq and Hawtah fields with best practices to maintain production /injection levels and maximize hydrocarbon recovery.
