Dr. Mohammad Talha is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting & MIS, College of Industrial & Management, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining KFUPM, Dr. Talha has served as Associate Dean, and Deputy Head of Accounting Unit in the Faculty of Business & Law, Multimedia University (MMU), Melaka Campus, Malaysia for about 6 years and he taught several courses of Accounting at undergraduate and graduate level. Dr. Talha has obtained the degrees of B.Com. (Hons.); M.Com; D.S.T.; M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Accounting from Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh (AMU), India.

    He has also served as Associate Professor in the Faculty of Commerce, Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh, India and taught several courses of Accounting at graduate and post graduate level from 1990 to 2007. He has about 19 years of teaching experience at graduate and post graduate level and about 24 years of research experience in the field of Accounting. He has published more than 90 research papers in national and international journals of repute.

    He has attended many national and international conferences, seminars and symposiums and has also authored three books on Management Accounting and Finance. His areas of specialization are: Financial Accounting & Reporting, Managerial Accounting, International Accounting, Segmental disclosures, Merger & Acquisition and Corporate Governance.  He has supervised a number of doctorate and master students at the faculty.
