Bio

Alhasan Almashyakhi is a graduate assistant in the Department of Accounting & Management Information Systems at College of Industrial Management.

His research is in the area of Cloud Computing, Big Data, and Visualisation.

He has leaded a social responsibility project called "Tataw3" and sponsored by Saad and Abdulaziz Al Mousa Endowment. This social project won second place in the Fourth Scientific Conference for Students of Higher Education K.S.A.

    Abdulelah Barnawi and I have participated in the Fourth Scientific Conference for students of Higher Education in the K.S.A., which was held in Makkah, with a project called "Tataw3" and we won the second prize for best community service competition.

Research Summary

Advances in modern technology have allowed businesses, governments and researchers to collect and store huge amounts of data. Big Data repositories, characterized by high magnitudes of data volume, velocity and variety, present many critical challenges for analysis. These include methods that can scale (volume), results that can be delivered in real-time (velocity), and insights that can be derived by combining different data sources and types such as structured and unstructured data (variety).

Furthermore, recent advances in mobile computing, cloud services, big data, and social media offer new opportunities to collaborate, co-create value, and transform business process along value chains.
