Students are expected to observe the following

Attendance
Students should be in class on time. Latecomers are
not welcome because they disturb the class.

are required to attend all lectures

excuses should be communicated to me within a week.

University
policies regarding unexcused absences will be applied.
Homework
·
Homework
on the material covered each week is collected on Monday of the following week.
·
Every homework is
treated as one assignment irrespective of the number of sections it involves.
·
Late
assignments will not be accepted.
·
A
number of problems (usually 5) from each assignment is selected at random and
graded.
·
Each
assignment is worth 10 points.
·
To
ensure a high homework grade the assignments should be handed in complete and correct.
Exams and Grades
·
The grade in
this course will be based on 5 quizzes, 2 mid term exams and a final exam.
·
The
final exam is comprehensive.
