The aim of Industrial Mathematics is to focus Applicable Mathematics on the solution of real life problems of industry. Successful activities in Industrial Mathematics have been reported from the aerospace, automotive, petrochemical / chemical, metallurgical, pharmaceutical, financial, agricultural and health industries.
The workshop will include keynote addresses, contributed papers and will provide a forum for cooperation between Universities and the various industrial organizations in the Gulf countries.

All participants should fill and submit the electronic Registration Form or fill a hardcopy and send it to the Chairman of the Organizing Committee for local arrangements. There will be a registration fee of SR 100 payable at the Registration desk at the workshop.

Location and Climate
King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) is located in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, between the headquarters of the Saudi Arabian Oil Company (SAUDI ARAMCO) and Dhahran Air Base. It is situated on top of the geologic dome, or anticline, where the first petroleum was discovered in Dammam Well No. 7, located about half a kilometer from the campus. A number of producing oil wells were at one time actually on University land, although sub-soil mineral rights are held by the Government.
The temperature at the time of the workshop will be around 28 C during the day and about 23 C at night.
