Rules and Regulations
- No make ups.
- A grade of "DN" will be given if number of unexcused absences exceeds 8.
- Lateness will count as 1/3 of an absence.
- Student who come late for class are responsible to remind me at the end of the lecture to replace the absence mark to lateness.
- No homework will be collected for grading.
- Class will be notified when a section has been covered. Thereafter, it is the responsibility of the student to attempt the homework assignment by the following class meeting. Students will have a chance to ask about the solution of a homework problem. A quiz on the homework (or similar) problems might follow the end of answering questions on the homework problems.

Computer Lab
Mathcad and Maple are mathematical software that are capable of doing symbolic as will as numeric computations. The software will be introduced and used in solving the computer assignments. Application of the software will include: different procedures for solving linear systems; symbolic manipulation of matrices including the computations of matrix inverse, transpose, and row-reduced echelon form. |
