The Oct Function
The Oct function returns a string that represents the octal value of a
specified number.
Note: If number is not already a whole number, it is rounded to the
nearest whole number before being evaluated.
Syntax
Parameter |
Description |
number |
Required. Any valid expression If number is:
- Null - then the Oct function returns Null.
- Empty - then the Oct function returns zero (0).
- Any other number - then the Oct function returns up to 11 octal characters.
