The <map> tag

Definition and Usage

Defines an image map. An image map is an image with clickable regions.

Tips and Notes

Note: The <area> tag is always nested inside the map element. The <area> tag defines the regions in the image map. The name attribute of the <map> tag is referenced with the usemap attribute in the <img> tag.
