The AddNew Method

The AddNew method creates a new record for an updateable Recordset object.

After you call this method, the new record will be the current record. 

Syntax

objRecordset.AddNew fieldlist,values

Example

<%
rs.AddNew "ProductName","Chang"
%>

<%
varfields=Array("ProductName","Prize","Quantity")
varvalues=Array("Chang","19","24-12 oz bottles")
rs.AddNew varfields,varvalues
%>
