Hospitality LAN Physical Design

You are to choose specific vendor equipment for your design.  These would include L2 3 switches, L2 switches, backbone switches/routers.  You must consider the followings:

• Chose Cisco type for all of your network node elements
• How many nodes per type to support 300 users?
• Search for published datasheets to find the specifications for capacity for every switch in terms of switching or routing rate (packet per second)?  Is the switching done in hardware (with no processor involvement) or software (with processor involvement).
• Reference all the datasheets.
