Doç. Dr. Ali Osman Öncel

Özgeçmiş:

1996 yılında Yerfiziği Doktoru, 2000 yılında Sismoloji Doçenti oldı. Doktora sonrası ikisi Japon Hükümeti (1999-1998 ve 2003-2004) ve birisi Kanada Hükümeti (2001-2003)'nden olmak üzere üç burs kazandı ve bu burslar çerçevesinde Sismoloji konusunda dört yıl doktora sonrası "Deprem Tahmini ve Tehlikesi" üzerinde uluslararası çalışmalar yaptı. 2005-2006 yılları arasında KFUPM üniversitesin ikisi master ve biri lisans olmak üzere 3 temel dersi öğreterek, uluslararası öğretim tecrübesi kazandı. 18'i ulusalararası ve 10'u ulusal olmak üzere 28 yayın yaptı. 20'si uluslararası ve 12'si ulusal olmak üzere bilimsel tebliğ verdi. Tamamı uluslararası dergilerde olmak üzere yapmış olduğu çalışmalar 36 kez atıf aldı.
