						  Wail A. 
						Mousa is the Founding Dean, Entrepreneurship Institute 
						(EI), and Professor of Electrical Engineering 
						(EE), King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals 
						(KFUPM).  Dr. Mousa received two B.Sc. degrees (with 
						honors) in electrical engineering and mathematical 
						sciences and an M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering 
						from KFUPM. Mousa's Ph.D. is in electronics and 
						electrical engineering from the University of Leeds, 
						U.K. Wail was the first Saudi to be sponsored by the 
						Schlumberger Dhahran Carbonate Research, Dhahran 
						Techno-Valley, KFUPM, for a Ph.D. He taught many courses 
						and established a couple of new ones at the EE 
						department. Also, he has more than 50 publications, 6 
						issued USPTO patents, and three books. Dr. Mousa held 
						many leadership roles including: Director of KFUPM 
						Business Development (2009), a coordinator for the 
						Academic Leadership Center (ALC), Ministry of Education 
						(2009), a consultant to the Vice-Rector for Business and 
						Innovation) at Umm Al-Qura University (2012), Director 
						of KFUPM Business Incubators (2012-2014), Assistant 
						Dean, EI-KFUPM (2014), and the EI Founding (2016). In 
						return of his tireless efforts, KFUPM received in 2017 
						the inaugural award from the SME Authority of the Best 
						University in the Kingdom that Supports Entrepreneurs & 
						SMEs in the Kingdom. Such efforts also have resulted in 
						more than 30 students' Startups within the last 3-5 
						years that generated a cumulative revenues of about SAR 
						25M, and created over 100 jobs. Also, during his 
						  term, in August 2021, the EI Incubator was ranked No. 
						  1 in KSA in terms of all KSA licensed Business 
						  Incubators, according to the incubators performance 
						  overview of 2020 by the SMEs General Authority’s 
						  Platforms Assessment for the year 2020 (performed by 
						  PwC). Dr. Mousa attended many 
						executive education programs: the 32nd 
						Price-Babson SEE, Babson College (2013), Management 
						Development Program, Harvard University (2013), Finance 
						& Accounting for Non-Finance Executives, Stern School of 
						Business, New York University (2018), the 49th 
						Institute of Educational Management (IEM), Harvard 
						University (2018), and the 2024 Entrepreneurship 
						  Development Program (EDP), MIT Sloan Executive 
						  Education, MIT. As a volunteer, he served as Chair of 
						the World Petroleum Council-Youth Committee (2008). Dr. 
						Mousa has received many awards, including a letter of 
						distinction from the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of 
						Schlumberger in 2008 for his technical contributions to 
						the company and 
						  appeared in the Schlumberger Company Magazine January 
						  2009 issue in an article titled: “He has a Dream…And 
						  Saudi Research Scientist Wail Mousa isn’t just 
						  sleeping on it”. Also, he appeared in Arab News 
						  December 2019 edition of “Saudi Arabia Who’s Who”. He 
						  also received the Award of Excellence of Serving the 
						  Department of Electrical Engineering at KFUPM for the 
						  academic year 2008-2009. He, as well, received in 2011 
						  a letter of appreciation from H.E. KFUPM Rector due to 
						  a published paper in the IEEE Transactions on 
						  Education, which was sharing KFUPM’s experience in 
						  offering a multidisciplinary course on Seismic Signal 
						  Processing. 
						  More recently, in 2021, he won the Entrepreneurial
						   Award for the prestigious Saudi Arabia British Council Study UK Alumni Awards. 
						   The finalists and awardees were selected from 1,300 applicants from around the 
						   world, for their outstanding 
						  achievements as business professionals, entrepreneurs and community leaders.
