First choose your topic. Then ask yourself . . .
1) WHAT is my PURPOSE, or what are my purposes for this presentation?
2) WHO is my audience? WHAT do I learn from my audience analysis? (for this assignment: Audience is MGT 210 students in your class)
3) WHAT attitude does my audience have about my topic and purpose? (Hostile, Friendly, or Indifferent)
4) What method of message organization will I use to be effective? (Choose according to Hostile, Friendly, or Indifferent Audience)
5a) HOW MUCH does my audience know about my topic? (What about examples, vocabulary, level of information and details to fit their level of knowledge?)
5b) WHAT APPEALS should I use with my audience?
6) What is my level of initial credibility with my audience, regarding my chosen topic? High, Medium, Low?
7) What should I do if my Initial Credibility is Low?
8) How do I determine what goes on my slides, one by one? (Remember to write your main points in short sentences. Each main point can become a slide about your topic)
9) How do I make a professional looking slide?
