KHALID has obtained his Bachelor of Science and M.E. degrees in Industrial Engineering and Operation Research from University of California. He is the co-founder of XENEL Industries Ltd., which is now a leading holding company operating a group of companies involved in various industrial, medical, petrochemicals, oil and gas, infrastructure, maintenance and operation activities. He is currently holding several high management positions such as Executive Director of XENEL Industries, Chairman and CEO of Saudi Cable Company, Hidada Limited, Safra, Nippon Electric Co. Saudi Arabia, AMI Saudi Arabia , Alujain Corporation , Saudi Services & Operating Co, Xpronet Inc., U.S.A, Xpronet Inc., U.S.A.  He has also Served on the Board of Directors and Saudi Arabian Standards Organization, Jeddah Chamber of Commerce & Industry

Khalid was personally honored on numerous occasions by being invited by Head of State or Head of Government of several countries; the most important of these are:
Albania, Brunei, Kazakhastan, Pakistan, Phillippines, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

Khalid, following his family’s footsteps in the development of education is very keen to ensure education is wide spread in the Middle East and world-wide.
