and covers chapters 1, 2, and 3.

No class on Tuesday 29/04/2008 (due to 13th Saudi TEM) and the new deadline
for homework # 02 is Sunday 04/05/2008 in class.

Major Exam II will be on
Tuesday 13/05/2008 during class time
and covers chapters 4, 6, and 7.

Suggested practice problems: 4.5, 7.2 (note that r should be <
(R / Ö5)), 7.3, and 7.4 (parts (a) & (b)).

Take-home quiz # 02: Solve problems 8.1 and 8.3 from the textbook. Due on
Sunday 1/6/2008 in class.
