Our group consists of members that include faculty, research fellows, graduate, and undergraduate students that are working individullay or in tandem on topics that span biochemical and biomolecualr engineering, bioseparations, and biological upgrading of crude oil and its derivities. Team members specilaties include, and not limited to, catalysis and reaction engineering, membrane and nanotechnology separation, numerical and computer simulation, and molecular dynamics and multiphysics modeling.

Teaching activities include semester long and short courses on topics related to bioprocess engineering, separation sciences, and transport phenomena.

University and Community Service

  • Our members are actively participating and serving in committees involved in curriculum development, industrial collaboration and advising, textbook review and selection, and studnet supervision and advising.
  • Community service include volunetary activities with local and national organization for purpsoes of promoting engineering eduaction and sceinces at the high school and basic eduction level.
