Briefly speaking ...
I joined KFUPM in 2007. Previously I had graduated from G. C. University Lahore in Pakistan and later served their as lecturer. I have the distinction of receiving the Presidential Award of Academic Excellence a record two times in 2002 and 2004 followed by a half million rupees grant from the Prime Minister of Pakistan in the year 2004.
My research interests are diverse but most of these can be classified under Combinatorics and Optimization. I am currently collaborating with colleagues from Departments of Computer Science, Construction Management and Mathematics. Details of my research can be found in the "Research" section.
I have edited several research journals and magazines including The Ravi (G.C. University), The Scientific Ravi (G.C. University) and Journal of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (G.C. University).
