2. A capacitor is constructed from two square metal plates of area L² separated by a distance d. One half of the space between the plates is filled with a substance of dielectric constant (k₁). 2. مكثف مكون من لوحين معدنيين مربعين، مساحة كل منهما تساوي L² ، ويفصل بينهما مسافة d. نصف الفراغ بين اللوحين معبأ بمادة مقدار ثابت العزل الكهربائي لها (k₁)، و النصف الآخر معبأ بمادة أخرى ثابت العزل الكهربائي لها(k₂). احسب سعة المكثف على افتراض أن سعته عندما يكون الفراغ عازلاً بين لوحيه هي C₀.
