The Thin Films and
Materials Group is a research group in the Physics
Department of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
The Laboratory for Thin Films was established in 1991 (as part of the Laser
Research Section of the Energy Research Center) to conduct research
on the synthesis, characterization, and performance of advanced thin film
materials. The research focuses upon both the fundamental properties and
practical applications of thin film materials.
