Specific Experience

• Helped the Deanship of Community College - Dammam  of KFUPM in developing Admission tools ad programs.

• The team leader of Computer-book Authors for Preliminary and Secondary classes.

• Developed an automatic glass cutting system on a personal computer using Visual Basic language. The system is operational.

• Participated with the university team as a consultant for Watani project for ministry of education.

• Participate in preparing the e-learning part of the national IT plan for the Kingdom.

• Developed and Taught a short course for the 14th National Computer Conference in April 1995 about “Arabization of Computers: a general view”.

• Worked on systems such as IBM 3033 (VM), VAX 11/780 (VMS & UNIX) and microcomputers (IBM (DOS & WINDOWS) & Apple Macintosh).

• Wrote a FORTRAN77 textbook with other faculty members for KFUPM students.

• Worked as a Newspaper Correspondent for the weekly column 'Introduction to Computer Science' for Al-Yaum, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. (in Arabic).

• Have experience in Hardware Design and Software Development.

• Have experience in the following Computer Languages: Prolog, C, Fortran, Pascal, Basic (Visual), Lisp, Clips, Assembly (Intel 8080, 8085, Motorola 6802, 6809), Ada, Algol, Database Languages.
