Welcome to my Website

 

I earned the B.Eng. degree from the École Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tunis, Tunis, Tunisia, in 2001, the M.Sc. degree from École Polytechnique de Montreal, Montreal, Qc, Canada, in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Calgary, Calgary, AB, Canada in 2009, all in electrical engineering.

 

I am currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering at American University of Sharjah since August 2015. Prior to joining AUS, I was an associate Professor with the Electrical Engineering Department, King Fahd University Of Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

My Research Interests

My research interests are overlapping with several major areas including radiofrequency electronics, microwave techniques, digital signal processing and communication systems. I am interested in collaboration with academic institutions, government agencies and industrial partners in projects covering, but not limited to, the following areas:

1. Design of advanced radiofrequency transmitters for wireless and satellite communications.

2. Behavioral modeling of wireless transmitters in general and power amplifiers in particular.

3. Impairments compensation of RF front ends using digital signal processing techniques.

4. RF and microwave test and measurements.
