Dr. Sullaiman S. Al-Khattaf

Dr. Al-Khattaf is pursuing research in the area of aromatics, alkylation, transalkylation, aromatization, diffusion and catalysis. He is the principal investigator of several funded research projects for Saudi Aramco, SABIC, UOP, KACST, NSTIP. He is also leading the international collaboration with Caltech, TUM, University of Zaragoza and Cambridge. He has more than 124 publications in refereed journals, 30 conference publications and 7 issued patents. Dr. Al-Khattaf received distinction award for excellence in research in 2007, 2010 and 2012. He has received KAUST award for winning Center-in-Development in 2008, and Almarai award in June 2012 for Center for Refining & Petrochemicals as Best Research Unit in the field of Chemistry.
Dr. Sulaiman received the Almarai Award on June 6, 2012 for Center for Refining & Petrochemicals (CRP) as Best Research Unit in the field of Chemistry.
