Introduction to Laplace transformation.
Many mathematical problems are solved using transformation. The idea is to transform the problem into another problem that is easier to solve then use the inverse transformation to obtain the solution to the original problem. Linear time-invariant systems are described by linear ordinary differential equations. For such systems, the Laplace transform offers an easier way of solving such equations. The Laplace transform converts the differential equation into an algebraic equation which can be manipulated easily then the solution of the differential equation is obtained through the inverse Laplace transformation.
