English 03 Aims

Introduction: The 03 Module aims to prepare students to succeed in 04. In 04 students need to be able to achieve a 500 on the TOEFL. Vocabulary appears to be the biggest problem for students in 04 so 03 will attempt to bridge the gap between the vocabulary students know coming out of 02 and the vocabulary they need to succeed in 04. It will also attempt to improve the productive and passive grammar skills of the students so that they are able to succeed on the TOEFL and on the writing exams. Finally, 03 will attempt to improve the listening and reading comprehension skills of the students so that they have a realistic chance to pass 04.
