Progress Tests assess material from the units students have studied up to that point.They do not assess retroactively.

Progress Test 1 assesses Units 1 – 3 of Headway and Units 1 – 4 of Nat Geo.

Each Progress Test is worth 7.5% of ENGL02.

Progress Test 2 assesses Units 7 – 9 of Headway and Units 9 – 12 of Nat Geo.

The Mid-Module Exam assesses all material students have studied up to that point.

It tests Units 1 – 6 of Headway and Units 5 – 8 of Nat Geo.

The Mid-Module Exam is worth 15% of ENGL02.

The Final Exam assesses all of Headway.

One reading in the final exam will be on a theme from Nat Geo.

 The Final Exam is worth 40% of the entire mark.

The Final Writing Exam consists of one seen task, previously done, and one unseen task.

Each Writing test is worth one third of 10%, or 3.33%

Writing tests are marked by the class teacher and then adjusted according to students’ performance in the Final Exam.
