Since an early age, I've always been interested in cars and motorcycles. I had my first motorbike when I was twelve, but more to the point, it was old and always breaking down. Having no money and no knowledge of mechanics, meant I taught myself mechanics by getting my hands dirty.
I still get my hands dirty today as I enjoy caring for my present transport in Saudi Arabia which is my 1984 Chevrolet Camaro. For the technically minded, it has a 5.7 liter V8 with 4 barrel Holley, Hooker headers, Typhoon intake manifold, etc. and 4 speed automatic transmission. I admit a workshop does most of the servicing but that's mostly because I don't have a workshop here myself. In Thailand, I have a Mitsubishi 4x4 Strada, which I enjoy driving off-road, and a Suzuki off-road motorcycle.
From an early age I have always enjoyed travelling to visit other countries and have new experiences. I prefer driving to travelling by plane even if it takes several days, and some days to complete offical paperwork! On the ground, one can see so much more, meet interesting people and experience the local food.
gardening and, on a larger scale, managing my farm in Thailand, on which
I am growing rubber, eucalyptus and mahogany trees. In addition, I grow
tapioca, coffee, bananas, betel nut and have several fish ponds.Inside
the house, I pass my time painting, watching films and computer activities
such as creating animations.
