Research Interests

The main interest is in Structure determination of Adsorbate molecule on metal surfaces. Research is carried out using the surface science facilities in the Physics Department of KFUPM and also at the synchrotron radiation source facility at Daresbury, UK.

The surface science research laboratory at KFUPM owns a VG ESCALAB MK II UHV surface analysis systems equipped with a wide range of spectroscopic techniques including:
X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS)
Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES)
UV Photoelectron Spectroscopy (UPS)
Ion Scattering Spectroscopy (ISS)
Low Energy Electron Diffraction (LEED)
