9. It is TIME to move the Wave!

The time dependence of the sine wave is given as y = A sin(kx-wt), with the wave traveling to right. Let us make w = 10 rad/s, (the cell E6 is given the value of w and is named omega) this make the period of the wave, T = 2p/w = 0.628 s. The wavelength l = 2p/k = 1 m, and v = w/k = l/T = 1.59 m/s.

In the next screen the y column will be modified to include time dependence. The value 0.01 s is assigned to C9 and is named delta_t, and C10 is named t. Temporarily t is made equal to zero.
