Laser Spectroscopy, Molecular Beams, Molecular Dynamics of Chemical Reactions, Resonance Enhanced Multi-Photon Ionization (REMPI), Time of Flight Mass Spectroscopy (TOFMS), Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS), Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR), Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS), Laser Range Finders, Opto-Electronic Devices and Circuits.

  

Some major achievements in Laser Technology and Spectroscopy

·        A new laser range finder electronic system for simultaneously measuring the distances of two targets using one single photodetection, amplification, counting and displaying chain.

·        First application of femtosecond pump-probe spectroscopy combined with the coincidence detection of photoelectrons and photoions for the analysis of the energetic of the photoinitiated intracluster harpooning reaction in metal-molecule complex.

·        First isotope-specific experiment that exploit REMPI ToF-MS of CaH/CaD generated from the reaction of calcium with H2/D2 in supersonic beam, and determination for the first time of the spin splitting parameters for CaD (B 2S+).
