Question 4: Suppose you have a very large box.  Its length is 2.0104 m, its width is 3.0103 m and its height is 1.0104 m.  What is the volume of this box?  If the box has a mass of 3.01012 kg what is its mass density?

Answer 4:

volume    = length width height

               = (2.0104 m)( 3.0103 m)( 1.0104 m)

                 = (2.0)(3.0)(1.0)104+3+4 m3

                        = 6.01011 m3.

                  = 0.501012-11 kg/m3

                      = 0.50 101 kg/m3

                  = 5.0 kg/m3.
