I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in 1996 from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Upon graduation I worked as a planning and operations engineer for the Saudi Aramco Oil Company for around three years before joining KFUPM. I later pursued my MBA and PhD under a scholarship grant and sponsorship from KFUPM. I earned my MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2002 and joined the PhD program in Marketing at the same university in 2003. I joined the faculty in the Department of Management & Marketing at KFUPM after graduation in September 2007. My research interests include rebranding, consumer behavior, international marketing, online marketing and globalization.
