ROBERT'S TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

My teaching philosophy is that students (herein referred to as participants) are entitled to quality instructions in an active and stimulating learning environment, and that they should experience frequent and repeated opportunities to act, react, and interact with each other and the professor. Therefore, one of my most important roles as a leader in the lecture room is to act as an "obstacle remover” in order to facilitate my participants' learning. Besides, getting to know my participants as individuals is one of my highest priorities.

All in all, the keystone of my teaching philosophy is relevance. Participants taking my course will appreciate the strong linkage between theory and their social contexts.
