During the period January 1993 to August 1998, acted as the Summer Training Coordinator in the Mechanical Engineering Department. Coordinated the summer training of a total of 506 Mechanical Engineering summer training students during these six years. In addition, served as the Thermo-Fluid Group Coordinator in the Mechanical Engineering Department, during the period September 1995 to September 1998. Coordinated all the activities related to Thermo-Fluid area in the Department of Mechanical engineering.

Project Engineer at TESTEK Inc., Livonia, MI, USA. Worked for the Design and Manufacturing of Testing Machinery and equipment used in Aerospace and Automobile Industries.

 

September 1988 to August 1989

Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA. Participated in a team of three professors to conduct research on Gas Combustion in Turbulent Flow.

 

May 1985 to August 1988

Computer Supervisor at the Computer Aided Engineering Network (CAEN) of the University of Michigan. Monitoring seven computer labs and supervising the users. The computers in CAEN labs include Apollo Workstations, IBM PC, and Macintosh, all of which are connected to main frame Michigan Terminal System (MTS). Used commercial computer packages such as MSC/NASTRAN, Auto-Trol, TELL-A-GRAF, IMSL, LaTEX and AUTOCAD. Programmed extensively for both numerical and graphics applications. Proficient in FORTRAN and BASIC. Experienced in using CRAY Supercomputer in San Diego, CA, USA and familiar with Michigan Terminal System (MTS).

Teaching Assistant in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Michigan. Taught an undergraduate Computer Graphics course on CAD and CAM Systems for three semesters. The software that is used in this course was Auto-Trol.

Research Assistant in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Michigan. Worked with Prof. Richard E. Sonntag for the preparation of a Solution Manual to his textbook entitled Fundamentals of Classical Thermodynamics, 3rd Edition.
